Intake Coordinator

Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking an Intake Coordinator for Arrow Foster Care, Adoption, Residential Treatment and Community Based Service programs. Arrow is the largest foster care provider in the State of Texas. Arrow Child & Family Ministries is a Christian provider of child welfare and education services for abused and neglected children and families in crisis. Through the engagement of both government and the local church, Arrow provides an array of services including foster care, adoption, residential care and treatment, child sex trafficking rehabilitation, and specialized education. All programs and services advance the well-being of children, families and communities while promoting responsibility and a commitment to strengthen family life.
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for in person screening and admissions to serve children in foster care, residential treatment, and community based programs. The Intake Coordinator is also responsible for making emergency placements in foster care programs. The Intake Coordinator consults with the team to determine customized placement options. The Intake Coordinator consults with the Program Director and Clinical Director to reassess/change client services related to the treatment plan. The Intake Coordinator works with families and referring agencies to secure Medicaid, Crime Victims' Compensation, insurance and other funding. The Intake Coordinator collaborates with accounting and programs to coordinate funding streams.


Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with one year of related experience. Experience in working with children and families preferred.


  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of current Auto Registration, Inspection and Insurance
  • Driving Record (three years) from the state in which the driver's license is valid
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment. 
  • Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older. 
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
